It's a pretty awesome thing when a 13-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl will let their 2-year-old brother hang out with them. Not only let him, but encourage him to do so. Beau has two amazing older sisters and they are really good sports.
During game 3 of the NBA Series Finals (Thunder Up!), the girls decided to make some signs and caricatures of their favorite players (M's: James Harden, S's: Russell Westbrook). Beau wanted to get right up in the middle of the action, so the girls got him a coloring book (though I'm pretty sure he could draw a fearful beard!)
Siblings don't always get along this well. Especially if there's a big age gap. And especially in blended-family situations like ours. We are really blessed to have such great girls for our Beau to follow around.
I hope when the day comes that he is bigger than them, he'll remember the girls' goodness and be kind and loving too, instead of giving them noogies or some other brother-like punishment.
