39: Easy Ways to be Kind

Between the schedule packed full of parties and pageants, the gifts you feel obligated to buy, cold and flu germs lurking around, and the tension of strained family relationships, this time of year often has a way of making us feel a bit frayed around the edges.

But here’s the trick…feeling happy (or merry or jolly, or any of the other, more festive versions of ‘happy’) is often a result of spreading kindness. I know, I know, like you need ONE MORE THING on your to-do list. But acts of kindness don’t have to be complicated or cost a dime.
